About Seven Oaks

Welcome to Seven Oaks Elementary!

We are the home of the Bulldogs and serve preschool through 5th grade in Lacey, WA. At Seven Oaks, we follow FRRED principles: fairness, responsibility, respect, empathy, and dignity. Our mission is to form a partnership of students, parents, staff, and the community to create a caring atmosphere where students can become successful citizens.

Goals & School Improvement Plan

Academic Gap Goals

  • By June 2026, increase the overall percentage of students performing at low risk in math easyCBM from 75% in spring 2025 to 80% in spring 2026.
  • Reduce the opportunity gap in math between special education and non-special education students by 10 percentage points.

Behavior or Social-Emotional Learning Gap Goals

  • Decrease playground behavior referrals from 483 to 363 (a 25% decrease).
  • Decrease the behavior referrals of students with IEP services from 35% of all playground referrals to 25%.

Building History

Seven Oaks Elementary was built in 1990 on 13.1 acres. It is located at 1800 Seven Oaks Drive SE. The 54,866 square foot building includes 35 instructional spaces and 8 portable classrooms.

  • In 2007, the boiler was replaced and controls were partially upgraded.
  • In 2012, Seven Oaks received HVAC upgrades.
  • In 2022, the school's roof was fully replaced, and mechanical upgrades were made to the HVAC system.
  • This school is currently eligible for a state-assisted modernization/addition.
